Pets
We have a Cockapoo called Obi. If your coming to the studio, you will probably meet him. His main job at the studio is to let us know when somebody comes through the door. He is very good at making children laugh for photographs, but does feel the need to be in photographs, even when not invited! Pets are more than welcome, whether part of a family shoot, or for a pet portrait. Your pet will be treated like any other client or child....they will have a look and sniff around, or run about, but enough to make them feel at ease in this environment which is new to them. When relaxed, we can take some photos!
If you bring treats, keep them hidden. Most dogs will react well to my authority without the need for treats.....some won't! Parents will get stressed and wound up if their child is not on their best behaviour, the same applies to dogs! The more wound up you get, the more your dog thinks it's play time! All we can say is.....let your dog relax and have fun. Our job is to get them in the camera which may be quick, or may take a little longer!
Any prior knowledge of your pet is warmly accepted at the time of booking. If they don't like men, we could have a problem, if they pee when exited, we would rather know before! Pet portraits are charged in the same way as a normal portrait shoot.
